Converting decimals to percentages is pretty easy really, so don't worry too much about this. Just put it as something over a hundred and cancel it down.
  1. Express each of the following as a percentage: Put the percent symbol after the number. Eg 66%
    1. 0.25 ____________
    2. 0.5 ____________
    3. 0.75 ____________
    4. 0.1 ____________
    5. 0.4152 ____________
    6. 0.8406 ____________
  2. Express each percentage as a decimal:

    2. 12% ____________
    3. 40% ____________
    4. 34% ____________
    5. 60.2% ____________
    6. 54.9% ____________

    1. 1/2 ____________
    2. 1/4 ____________
    3. 1/8 ____________
    4. 3/4 ____________
    5. 1/25 ____________
    6. 2/3 ____________
    7. 4/15 ____________
    8. 2/7 ____________
All you're doing is multiplying by 100 Now you're dividing by 100 — so just move the decimal point to the left.
  4. Express each percentage as a fraction in its lowest terms:
It's best to put them over 100 Then get rid of the decimal point by multiplying top and bottom by 10. Then just cancel down as normal.
