Rock / Hard Place

ALT IMG Sometimes in life it seems that there is no good forward step. You have a two choices but both are rather unpleasant. You are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Boris has been put into a difficult position. He can either obtain a bad deal Brexit. A kind of Brexit in name only, where the ECJ still rules over the UK, or he can renege on international law pertaining to Northern Ireland. He will either lose the support of around 30 of his own MPs or, even worse, suffer the loss of support of more than half the population who entrusted him to secure Brexit.
