Beginnings and Endings

Verb Tenses

We use:

Time Links

Make a point of knowing the difference between:
  1. first (ly)
  2. at first
  3. lastly
  4. at last
  5. after
  6. afterwards
  7. while
  8. during
  9. meanwhile

Adding Variety and Interest

You have to make your story more lively and interesting. These include:

Describe an event or day which changed your life.

Write a story which end with the words.....
